| I. | THE COMPANY Gema Nada Pertiwi is a music recording based in Jakarta – Indonesia and located at Kebon Jeruk XV No 13, Maphar – Tamansari, West Jakarta 11160 . The company produces and distributes only legal and original musical records in various media such as music cassette, audio compact disc, video compact disc, digital video disc, and digital media. The company was established on June 22nd 1970 under the name of Hins Collection and joined with six other local recording companies to form PT. Perina Utama Indonesia . In 1982 it started to focus in Indonesian traditional music and dissociated from PT. Perina Utama Indonesia . |
| On May 24 th 1985, Hins Collection became a limited company and changed its name to PT. Gema Nada Pertiwi. PT. Gema Nada Pertiwi has three other companies within its music business group : |
1. | PT. Penerbit Karya Musik Pertiwi This company is a music publishing company who manages and represents the rights of the music composers and songwriters. |
2. | PT. Cakrawala Musik Nusantara This company specialize in producing music videos and distributing musical recordingsin optical disc format. |
3. | PT. Duta Nada Persada This company specialize in distributing classical folksongs and traditional music in optical disc format. And one special unit, GNP Enterprise, which manage the GNP Arts Delegation performances in Indonesia and abroad. |
II. | VISION AND MISSION After becoming a limited company in 1985, PT. Gema Nada Pertiwi is starting to focus on Indonesian traditional music and folksongs. Realizing the richness and diversity of Indonesian musical heritage, the company has the vision to preserve and develop Indonesian traditional music and folksongs by producing them in high quality recording and packaging, and completed with their background information. Since then PT. Gema Nada Pertiwi has been producing hundreds titles of Indonesian traditional music and folksongs such as keroncong, kacapi suling, degung, gamelan, balinese gong and angklung, and folksongs album from various regions in Indonesia . Besides that, PT. Gema Nada Pertiwi also producing Indonesian national and patriotic songs, world music, Indonesian pop songs, Indonesian evergreen songs, children songs, and Chinese language songs. |
III. | ARTISTS Over the years PT. Gema Nada Pertiwi has recorded numerous Indonesian artists such as Gesang, Idris Sardi, Mus Mulyadi, Waldjinah, Sundari Soekotjo, Tuti Maryati, Toto Salmon, Sambasunda, Broery Marantika, Farid Hardja, Panbers, Eddy Silitonga, Didi Kempot, Harry Roesli, Rachmat Kartolo, Abdul Adjib, Elly Kasim, Harry & Iin, Lidya Lau, Anthony S Band, Kak Nunuk, Ujang Suryana, Endang Sukandar, Martin Mailoa, and many more. The company also have licensed to distributes foreign artists albums, specifically in world music genre such as Colin Bass (Sabah Habas Mustapha), Django Mango, and Warogus. |
IV. | PRODUCTION FACILITIES PT. Gema Nada Pertiwi has its own production facility such as : |
| 1. | Sound recording and mastering studio equipped with 24 tracks tape grand master recorder, 16 tracks tape grand master recorder, and 24 tracks input output DA console for digital computer recording, complete with outboard effects and various musical instruments. |

| 1. | May 1996 – GNP Arts Delegation featuring Gesang, Waldjinah, Harry, Iin, etc performed at Bengawan Solo Night in Shanghai . |
| 2. | July 2001 – Launched “Lidya Lau – Pop Mandarin Anak-anak Vol 1”, acknowledged by the Indonesian Record Museum as the first ever Children Albums in Chinese Language from Indonesia . |
| 3. | November 2002 – GNP Arts Delegation featuring Harry, Iin, and Sambasunda performed at the opening ceremony of 2002 Nanning International Festival of Arts and Folksongs. |
| 4. | January 2003 – Launched the album “Keroncong Asli Gesang”, acknowledged by the Indonesian Record Museum as the oldest singer to record a music album. |
| 5. | June 2003 – GNP Enterprise presented Idris Sardi Concert at Sahid Ballroom in Jakarta . |
| 6. | May 2004 – Launched the album Karaoke DVD “Keroncong Asli Sundari Soekotjo”, the first ever keroncong music in DVD format in Indonesia . |
